Root Cause
The garage door rollers were old and worn, with damaged bearings that caused rough, noisy movement and reduced the door’s ability to roll smoothly along the tracks. During the inspection, the secondary door was also found to be excessively heavy because its spring was no longer providing the proper counterbalance. Replacing the worn rollers and failed spring restored smoother, safer, and more reliable operation for both doors.
