Root cause and diagnosis
A broken garage door spring required replacement. The inspection also identified a cracked door section needing a support strut and a loose track affecting alignment and the safety sensors. The work addressed each of those documented issues.

Work performed and resolution
John G found us through Nextdoor and contacted us for a same-day garage door spring replacement. We arrived promptly and completed the repair in under two hours.
During the inspection, we found that the garage door had a crack that needed reinforcement. We installed a support strut to strengthen the damaged section and help prevent the crack from worsening. We also found that the track was loose, which was affecting alignment and causing issues with the safety sensor eyes.
In addition to replacing the springs, we secured and adjusted the loose track, checked the sensor alignment, and tested the full system. Once the repairs were complete, the garage door was operating smoothly, safely, and reliably again.
